SCHOOL HOLIDAYS (27th march-6th April)

Okay so on the 1st Saturday night of the holidays was Dan’s party!
Lots of fun... Apart from the lame nugguh-dribblez that was played... there was a cute fire and our friend Aidan had trouble keeping his pants on... and his shirt at a stage (god bless him)

On Sunday was ovens and Murray grannies so I went to that with Megan

Monday I slept for a long part of my day :), Tuesday I went to beauty school with my aunt to be her test person, I got free waxing done and Mani’s and pedi's wooo! That night I had o+m selections so by the end of it I was half dead!! But my efforts were not for nothing.
Wednesday I went to the nationals comp in Albury to cheer on Joel and Megan, Thursday I saw Cameron for a while before working... met my new manager Beth and she seems pretty lovely

FRIDAY = Y FEST!!
It turned out horribly when it comes to attendance. But at the animals Australia stalls; we were more successful than we thought. Lucky, Bree's baby goat, came along to chill out so that was excellent... she attracted so many people!
The Doctor from triple j's Avro show was the host, and as he is vegan, himself and his girlfriend (drools) sat with us most of the time! We met Pez and everything.

That night (it was Good Friday) I got a lift to my cousins/best friend house with Bree and Lizzy, since my parents were on the alcohol! Liam wasn’t there though, at a party, so I was on the laptop all night speaking to cam... and put crumbs all in liams bed... and may have stolen a thing or another *shifty eyes*

Saturday Afternoon I waitressed at a family friend's wedding. The ceremony was lovely! There was only 3 of us doing drinks (pouring champagne, serving way too many different selections of beers), and the other two were Indian tafe students! No racism intended but holy shit their English was really poor, one found his way into a bush... and the other cut his hand open from broken glass... so I was going a big crazy....

My parents were at this wedding and they got on it again... so I stayed at Liams again, and I got maccas for tea (big mac without the meat patties: 3) and me and Liam watched 101 Dalmatians and played on chat roulette!! One of the funniest nights

Yesterday I had a lovely sleep in... To about 2pm... Then watched The Time Travelers Wife, and got ready! I and Lizzy had a cute date night out on Dean Street (ha-ha). We got quite dressed up! We had Thai puka for dinner, then realized it was early (we HATE daylight savings) and that our movie started at 8:30... So we came across the problem of having 3 spare hours on our hands. We went to buy the tickets (poor Lizzy and myself :( she had heels on and dean street is pretty long... plus I had the most uncomfy shoes on...), then since we had very sore feet, we went to Coles and bought band aids and tissues (being prepared... we were seeing Dear John!). Then... since we are cute... went to intensity and played shooting games and I won! We got putty and those cracking ball things. We went to cold rock then caught up with Cassie for a little while... may I remind you that we were walking aimlessly about for a lot of it!
Dear John was very sad and sweet, I definitely recommend seeing it either in the cinema or hiring it!
After movie was crazy... there was this old creepy guy hanging around just inside the cinema entrance, and we was yelling at us and we were trapped! He was effing scary... we hated it... sooo much

Today I was lazy... I didn't much at all. I played Sims on ps2 for a little while, went on the computer and watched Astro boy. I went to o+m training at Albury pool at 6... So weird training in the dark!

So here I am... hopefully I’ll get back into blogging more... sorry for the neglect!

*complaining*

as soon as something shitty happens to me, all these people who claim to be there for me run away and ignore me
i dont hear from them
then when im happy again
i get all these text messages and comments on scenespace, and they all come up to me and ask how i am.
its so stupid, i try to ignore this, but i think it got a bit to much to not-hide

BROKEN MIND

letter to the editor/ people for the ethical treatment of animals

I sent about
hmm,
7 of the same 'letters to the editor' to multiple newspapers
about duck shooting, and unfortunately none were published for today (Saturday)

"I'm writing to urge you, and readers, to call off the 2010 duck shooting season. I believe most Australians would be appalled by the idea that their government would permit the slaughter of native wildlife for fun. This 'sport' is cruel, unsustainable and has no place in our society. Native waterbird numbers across eastern Australia have dropped 82% over the past 26 years and Victorian waterbird numbers dropped a massive 60% in just one year - between 2007 and 2008. With the nations' waterbird numbers in severe decline, this is an issue of national environmental importance. Duck shooting is now unsustainable due to drought and climate change. In addition to these environmental concerns, duck hunting inevitably causes significant animal suffering. An estimated one in four birds shot are wounded and may suffer for extensive periods of time. New South Wales, Western Australia and Queensland have all already banned duck hunting. Please follow their lead and end this cruel slaughter."

THIS is something that i've been aware of for a while... last year i sent only one in; to the border mail

http://www.bordermail.com.au/news/opinion/letters/general/duck-season-simply-cruel/1453874.aspx

I'm sure the red neck victorian racist hicks wouldn't of given a fuck anyway.

miserable?

I know what it is now

saving, saving, saving

  • Saigon is Australia's last circus elephant
  • At 55 years of age, she is now too old to perform. Yet she is still trucked from town to town with Perry Bros Circus, spending months on end in a barren enclosure out the back of a truck, surrounded by an electric fence.
  • We are calling upon Perry Bros to retire Saigon from circus life and to a facility where her behavioural needs can be met, and where she can enjoy quality of life for the first time in her life, for the rest of her life. Please support our campaign to secure Saigon's release
